Following a sold-out performance in 2023, The Sound of Rodgers & Hammerstein returns to the National Concert Hall, celebrating the legendary musical partnership that brought us Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King & I and The Sound of Music.

Performed by The Niall Kinsella Orchestra, renowned Irish soprano Celine Byrne, top West End stars Julian Ovenden and Summer Strallen, the concert includes beloved songs such as ‘Oh, What a Beautiful Morning’, ‘Some Enchanted Evening’, ‘Climb Ev’ry Mountain’, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, ‘Edelweiss’, and many more.

International operatic sensation Celine Byrne has captivated audiences and critics alike with her stunning performances in opera and concert across Europe and the United States. Celine maintains a loyal fanbase at home in Ireland with regular sold-out performances at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and the National Concert Hall.

Acclaimed English actor and singer Julian Ovenden is renowned for his stage and screen performances, including leading roles in South Pacific in the West End and on tour, Show Boat at Lincoln Center, The Sound of Music broadcast live on ITV, and mega-hit TV shows Bridgerton and Downton Abbey.

Four-time Olivier Award-nominated West End star Summer Strallen is celebrated for her performances in leading roles in Top Hat, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, Cats and The Sound of Music, as well as a featured role in the recent movie phenomenon, Wicked.

The Niall Kinsella Orchestra is Ireland’s newest professional orchestra specialising in performing classic Musical Theatre repertoire with style and authenticity. Featuring the finest freelance professional musicians the orchestra recreates the original sound of this music as it was intended by its creators.
