Feel the Force as the National Symphony Orchestra celebrates cinema’s greatest musical master, John Williams, with an evening of drama, fantasy and spectacle from his iconic, era-defining scores hosted by film music specialist Tim Burden.

Release your inner super-hero with the soaring March from Superman, shiver in fear at the pulsing menace of the Main Theme from Jaws, swoon to the delicate romance of Sayuri’s Theme from Memoirs of a Geisha, wallow in the nostalgic, piano-led Main Theme from Angela’s Ashes.

Take a Flight to Neverland (Hook), befriend E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, or keep your wits about you in Jurassic Park, experience the stark heroism and aching beauty of the Main Themes from Born on the Fourth of July and Schindler’s List.

Find yourself in a galaxy far, far away with memorable moments from the Star Wars saga including the unforgettable brass-led Main Theme from A New Hope, the imposing Imperial March from The Empire Strikes Back, the mighty and majestic Duel of the Fates (The Phantom Menace), the baleful beauty of Across the Stars (Attack of the Clones), and stirring Rey’s Theme (The Force Awakens).

Return to school with a visit to Hogwarts Academy and classic themes from the Harry Potter films including Harry’s Wondrous World and Hedwig’s Theme (The Philosopher’s Stone), Fawkes the Phoenix (The Chamber of Secrets), and Aunt Marge’s Waltz (The Prisoner of Azkaban).
