Celebrate the festive season with internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, who makes a welcome return to the National Concert Hall following her 2022 winning performance EDEN. Praised for having a voice that’s “nothing less than 24-carat gold” (The Times) DiDonato will be joined by her long-time collaborator, pianist Craig Terry, and the sen-sational Dallas-based a cappella quartet Kings Return for a vibrant and uplifting concert of sea-son favourites to include: ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’, ‘Carol of the Bells’, ‘O Holy Night’, ‘Go Tell it on the Mountain’,  ‘Rejoice/ Hallelujah’, ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch’ , ‘I’ll be Home for Christmas ‘, ‘Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire’ and more. A rich mix of seasonal music, from beloved carols and classical works to gospel, spirituals, and jazz-inflected favourites.
