Day trip to Wexford Opera Festival

Wexford Festival Opera celebrates 75 years of the festival in 2026, so this year’s outing is a particularly special event.  Join us as we attend the final night of the Festival with a performance of Iris by Pietru Mascagni. The opera invites us into the inner world of Iris, a young girl lured from her home into the city’s dark pleasure quarters. A victim of societal corruption and exploitation, Iris remains luminous and untouched even as the world around her grows monstrous.  A three- course lunch with a glass of wine will take place in the Whites Clayton Hotel as will a post-performance supper and private coach transport is provided. 

Meet at NCH car park at 11am, returning at approximately 11.30pm
