Soundscapes

Soundscapes - A joyful exploration of music for young neurodivergent audiences

Aimed at primary school aged autism classes, this show is almost entirely without words, spoken or sung.

As the musicians move through a series of shifting themes - some dreamy and melodic, some dance and upbeat - the audience is invited to help conduct the musical improvisations. Using hands, gestures, and various props, we will sculpt the music together, as if it’s playdough.

The show is developed with a neuroaffirmative approach - audience members are welcome to react to the music in any way they feel comfortable. There is no pressure to remain quiet or still, and participation is entirely voluntary.
