Experience the Orchestra in Action – Open Rehearsals for Secondary Schools

Ever wondered how a live orchestral performance comes together? Our Open Rehearsals offer secondary school students and their teachers a rare chance to step inside the concert hall and witness the creative process behind the music.

Watch the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland and their conductor in rehearsal on the main stage as they prepare for an upcoming performance. It’s an inspiring, behind-the-scenes experience, perfect for students interested in music, performance, or simply seeing how a professional ensemble works together in real time.

Founded in 1948 and resident at the National Concert Hall since 1981, the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland is a vital part of Irish cultural life, performing an exciting mix of symphonic, choral, operatic, and contemporary music.
