Continuing Professional Development courses for teachers
Join us this July (7th - 11th) for two dynamic teacher training courses designed to spark creativity and confidence in music education. Whether you work with early years or primary school aged children, these immersive, hands-on programmes are tailored to equip educators, regardless of musical background, with the tools to make music an engaging part of classroom life.
Creative Music Making for Primary School Teachers (7th - 11th July, 9.30am–2pm daily), facilitated by Mary Curran of WhistleBlast Quartet, is a Department of Education approved for EPV days course packed with rhythm, composition, performance and classroom ready ideas, empowering teachers to deliver imaginative, inclusive music lessons.
Musical Play: Teacher Training for Early Years Musicians (7th - 11th July, 3–6pm daily) led by Helen Blackmore (TU Dublin Conservatoire), focuses on using voice, movement, and play to build strong foundations in early childhood music teaching. Perfect for early years educators and musicians looking to teach with confidence, creativity, and joy.
