We offer our NCH Friends an exclusive programme of social, music and cultural events throughout the year. Bookings can be made through our dedicated Friends office. Please contact the Friends office on 01 408 6777 or email friends@nch.ie

Monthly Coffee Mornings  

On the first Wednesday of each month, Friends are invited to the Iveagh Room of the Terrace Café to meet with fellow Friends. This is an opportunity to meet and chat, and find out about upcoming Friends and NCH activities.

Friends international trip to Amsterdam

Friends of NCH journey on an international musical adventure as we depart for beautiful Amsterdam in May.  

 

Friends visit to West Wicklow Festival in Russborough House with dinner in Tulfarris House prior to concert

Friday 22 May, 3.30pm, (Meet in NCH Foyer, returning at 10.30pm approx.)

Join us for a classical day out in West Wicklow as we attend an evening performance of the Marmen Quartet and Fiachra Garvey. This award-winning quartet will be performing Haydn, Debussy and Franck at an intimate chamber concert in Russborough House. Prior to the concert, enjoy a three- course meal with a glass of wine or soft drink at Tulfarris House with private coach hire for the day.

Tour of Avondale House and Garden and Treetop walk

Thursday 4 June, Avondale Co. Wicklow (Meet in NCH Foyer at 10.15am)

A Friend’s day out to remember as we visit Avondale House and estate in Co. Wicklow Home of Charles Stewart Parnell, the day consists of a tour of the House to learn its stories and history, lunch in the Avondale Cafe and a leisurely tour of the estate including the option of the gentle climb of the treetop canopy for a unique view of the landscape. The walk is moderate and 1.4 kilometres in length A private coach will take you to and from the National Concert Hall.

Friends €90 euro, non-members 110 euro
