NCH Season 2025/2026 Pre-Concert Talks
Join us before selected concerts in the NCH Autumn Winter Season to hear from some of the wonderful artists performing in the season as well as the opportunity to delve deeper into the programme and repertoire for the performances.
Pre-Concert Talks take place in the Kevin Barry Recital Room and are free for ticketholders.
Concert: NCH Lifetime Achievement Award: Jane O’Leary

Join Robert Read, Chief Executive Officer of the National Concert Hall, as he interviews composer Jane O'Leary ahead of her NCH Lifetime Achievement Award concert.
Concert: Nicola Benedetti, violin
Sunday 23rd November, 6.15pm
Join virtuoso guitarist Plínio Fernandes in conversation at the Kevin Barry Recital Room, ahead of his performance with Nicola Benedetti. Facilitating the discussion will be Simon Taylor, former Chief Executive of the NCH and classical guitarist.

Join Dr. Fionnuala Moynihan, concert pianist and Performance Coach at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, as she dives into the music of Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, and Liszt, exploring tonight's repertoire.

Join Róisín Blunnie, Head of the School of Theology, Philosophy and Music in DCU, as she dives into the music of Arvo Pärt, exploring tonight's repertoire.

Friday 12th December, 6.15pm
Join acclaimed soloist Michelle Cann, ahead of her Piano Concerto with NSOI, in conversation with Máire Carroll, award-winning Irish pianist and composer.
