Once upon a time… a story could save your life. When a ruthless Sultan threatens to murder Scheherazade, she distracts him with dazzling tales – for 1001 nights!

Rimsky-Korsakov’s glittering score brings her adventures to life, with stormy seas, daring princes and shimmering festivals bursting from National Symphony Orchestra Ireland, conducted by the awesome Anna Sułkowska-Migoń.
 
Let charismatic presenter Jessie Grimes animate this orchestral masterpiece in her inimitable Symphony Shorts style! Packed with singing, body percussion and audience participation, this relaxed, ASD-friendly family concert invites everyone to step into Scheherazade’s thrilling world of music and storytelling.

Perfect for ages 6 and up.

This event includes Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpretation. A visual guide will also be available online in advance of the concert.
