The Norwegian superstar Mari Samuelsen, an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist, directs the RTÉ Concert Orchestra from the violin for a Summer Lunchtime of string magnificence.

​​​​​​​Samuelsen brings her unique and breathtaking virtuosity to a programme including Max Richter’s 2012 reimagining of The Four Seasons. Richter aimed to reclaim the Vivaldi piece and make people fall in love with it again; the incredible impact of Recomposed is a testament to his success. Samuelsen and Richter are regular collaborators – they joined the RTÉ CO to play to a packed marquee at All Together Now in 2023, while Samuelsen performed Recomposed with the RTÉ CO to a sold-out house in the NCH in August 2024.

Taking us on a rich emotional journey through modern classical music, Samuelsen’s dynamic artistry is further demonstrated in Arvo Pärt’s Tintinnabuli-style Fratres.
