Ferocious dinosaurs, a ravenous shark, a whip-wielding archaeologist in search of a holy relic, a young boy plunged into a world of magic, and a fabled galaxy far, far away….

Relive some of cinema’s most iconic moments as National Symphony Orchestra Ireland salutes the greatest living film composer – the incomparable John Williams – who brought symphonic grandeur back to the Silver Screen.

Dirk Brossé, chosen by Williams as Principal Conductor for the global Star Wars in Concert tour, leads National Symphony Orchestra Ireland in anthemic scores that melt the heart and stir the imagination.

Highlights include the majestic fanfare of Jurassic Park, the relentless liquid menace of Jaws, the pulse-quickening March from Raiders of the Lost Ark, the stirring romance of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, the heart-rending Main Theme from Schindler’s List, and the spellbinding enchantment of Harry Potter.

And there’s more as Superman takes flight in a rousing March, The Terminal’s Viktor finds himself comically marooned in an airport lounge, and Tin Tin becomes embroiled in a duel.

No John Williams concert would be complete without the blazing majesty of Star Wars. Feel the Force in classic cues from the original film, The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.
