Róisín Sullivan returns to the John Field Room with much loved classics from the world of musical theatre following her previous sold out performances of ‘The Magic of the Musicals’, ‘Sensational Showtunes’, ‘Just Julie – The Julie Andrews Songbook’ and ‘Songs from the Silver Screen’.  With grand piano accompaniment by David Wray, and with very special guest Brian Gilligan, enjoy an afternoon of popular hits from some of the worlds most renowned musical theatre productions including 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Evita', 'Les Misérables', ' Oliver!', 'My Fair Lady' and many more.

Róisín is no stranger to the NCH having performed many leading roles on the main stage including Truly Scrumptious in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’(Christmas 2025/26), Maria in ‘The Sound of Music’, Nancy in ‘Oliver!’ and Grace in ‘Annie’ all with Festival Productions.  She is delighted to be returning to the John Field Room following her previous performances.  She is a graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London, and previous shows  include ‘Scrooge’ with Sir Tommy Steele at The London Palladium (West End), understudy Eva Peron in Andrew Lloyd Webbers ‘Evita’(UK & International Tour), the Broadway touring production of ‘Riverdance’ (North American Tour), Adele in West End premier of ‘A Man of No Importance’ (Arts Theatre, West End) and Beggar Woman in ‘Sweeney Todd’ (Union Theatre, London). Back home, Róisín played Jeursha Abbott in the Irish Premier of ‘Daddy Long Legs’ (Smock Alley Theatre), Rita in ‘Educating Rita’ (Mill Theatre), Claire in ‘Ordinary Days’ (Smock Alley Theatre), Kathleen in ‘Flynn’ (Peacock Stage, Abbey Theatre), Jacqueline in ‘Don’t Dress for Dinner’ (Mill Theatre), Eliza Doolittle in ‘My Fair Lady’ and Gigi in ‘Gigi’ both at the Gaiety Theatre.

​​​​​​​Brian is a Dublin-born actor recently seen as the iconic villain Scar in Disney’s The Lion King UK & Ireland Tour, including a celebrated run at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin (2023). From West End premieres to award-winning Irish productions, Brian is celebrated for his versatility, commanding stage presence and dynamic performances.

His West End and Irish stage career highlights include Deco in The Commitments (Palace Theatre, West End, and UK and Ireland Tour), Guy in Once (Olympia, Dublin), Riff in West Side Story: A Concert Version (Bord Gáis), Tommy Gilroy in Jimmy’s Hall (Abbey Theatre), Assassins (Gate Theatre – BroadwayWorld Award, Best Supporting Actor), and originating roles in new musicals including Eugenius! and Bananaman in London.
