Dublin’s longest running intercultural festival, the Big Bang Festival of Rhythm (established 1994) presents a rare opportunity to learn directly with one of the greats of Mandeng culture, Billy Konaté, son of Famoudou Konaté, King of Djembe. All instruments are supplied but participants are also welcome to bring their own.
