Award-winning playwright Colin Murphy turns his attention to questions of war and peace and the justifications for invasion and conquest.

Classics Now festival presents Murphy’s adaptation of a key episode from the ancient Greek historian Thucydides’ account of the 27-year war between Athens and Sparta, the Peloponnesian War.

This will be followed by an incisive panel discussion, bringing the debates up to the present day.
