In a reflective, uplifting programme celebrating the wonder and glory of Christmas, Cór Linn will be joined by Dublin-based chamber choir Fabre, performing music by Philip Stopford, John Rutter and Benjamin Britten.

Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols is one of his most beloved choral works, composed in 1942 during a voyage across the Atlantic on a transatlantic ship. Cór Linn with harpist Andreja Malir will perform the SATB arrangement offering rich harmonies, vibrant contrasts, and intricate vocal lines that highlight Britten's skill in creating a dramatic and evocative atmosphere. The work is known for its beauty, variety, and accessibility, making it a beloved piece for choirs during the Christmas season.

Britten’s iconic A Hymn To The Virgin, pieces by John Rutter and Stopford’s magical arrangements including his luminous For the Beauty of the Earth compliment the gorgeous setting of Adam & Eve's on Merchant's Quay.
