Soundtrack Vibes: NCH Gamelan Orchestra and special guests The Hum

New arrangements of classic TV soundtracks from the NCH Gamelan Orchestra and special guests The Hum, also featuring Maciej Bliziński (bass) and David Rieger (drums).

TV show soundtracks sometimes don’t get the same love as their movie counterparts, but they play an important role in our lives as we develop emotional attachments to these short snippets of music.

This event is an artistic collaboration between members of the NCH Gamelan Orchestra and The Hum, a music project focused on ambient and soundtrack scores. This performance will develop classic TV themes into longer pieces though improvisation, arranging and writing, as well as the unique sound created by merging western sounds with Javanese Gamelan instruments. Featuring music from Twin Peaks, Better Call Saul, Stranger Things, The Last of Us and more.
