Chief Conductor Jaime Martín and vocalist Rebeca Sanchez revisit their lockdown streaming sensation, El amor brujo (Love, the Magician). A chance to hear Falla’s flamenco-infused marriage of the melodic and the macabre live for the first time. 
 
Chabrier’s rhapsodic, rhythmic España is a picture postcard in musical form, Falla’s exuberant The Three-Cornered Hat colourfully borrows from traditional folk tunes, and Ravel’s pneumatic Bolero never fails to hypnotise with its insistent percussive rhythms and blazing finale.
