Continuing the celebrations of our 30th birthday in 2024, Lyric Opera Productions presents a celebration of Love & Sacrifice in Opera, featuring some of the most beautiful and dramatic singing in the repertoire. Among the selection is a tribute to master Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, with scenes from La Traviata, Don Carlo, Il Trovatore & Otello. The genius of Mozart is celebrated with an extended scene from The Marriage of Figaro.

2024 is a special year for fans of Puccini, commemorating 100 years since his death, and we pay tribute to him with the music of Turandot. And tragic moments of love and sacrifice from Massanet's beautiful opera Werther will also feature, in addition to heart-stopping music from Donizetti, Bellini, Offenbach, Monteverdi and Korngold.

Enjoy the incredible talents of international artists in semi-staged excerpts and aria renditions. This is a night not to be missed for lovers of opera and song.
