RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra 2021-2022 Season


The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce 17 additional concerts from January to May as part of the 2021-2022 season at the National Concert Hall.

All concerts will be broadcast live on RTÉ lyric fm and presented by Paul Herriott. 
Some of the many highlights include 
•    Jaime Martín teaming up with Kirill Gerstein for Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto, with Pablo Ferrández for the Dvořák Cello Concerto, with Hugh Tinney for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 and with Anne Sofie von Otter for a selection of Schubert songs; 
•    Paul Lewis playing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 27 with Jessica Cottis conducting;
•    Ruxandra Donose performing Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder with Ilyich Rivas conducting; 
•    Leonard Slatkin conducting Mahler’s Fourth Symphony with Ailish Tynan as soloist and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with Lise de la Salle as soloist; 
•    Anja Bihlmaier conducting the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with Clara Jumi-Kang as soloist;
•    Joana Carneiro and Tara Erraught teaming up for Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen

Booking for January concerts opens on Friday 17 December at 10am. Booking dates for subsequent concerts will be announced following the current restrictions period which currently extends until 9 January 2022.
