Strategic Goals
In setting our ambition for the next phase of the National Concert Hall’s proud journey, our outline strategy through to 2020 has focused on 6 key strategic objectives:
Our Music: Music is at the heart of everything we do. We are a national centre for musical excellence, embracing music and musicians of all genres, championing life-long musical engagement and offering enriching and creative experiences to our audiences.
Our Relationships: We belong to and serve the people of Ireland and any visitors to our country. We will be welcoming to all, and will ensure strong and trusting relationships with all our partners, funders, and most importantly our artists and audiences.
Our Home: Our building reflects the physical embodiment of our musical ambitions and a venue of which the nation can be proud: well designed, well managed and well maintained. It will be a national icon and a must-see destination for visitors. For our audiences it will be a place where they want to come and spend time - a haven, a place of inspiration: open, accessible and engaging.
Our Business: The National Concert Hall has a proud record of financial responsibility and commercial effectiveness. The changes planned within our strategy are based on a solid business plan, designed to deliver maximum value for the taxpayer’s money invested.
Our Identity: The National Concert Hall will be recognised nationally and internationally as a world-class centre of excellence in music and the arts. While remaining true to its heritage, it will be seen as relevant, dynamic, open and engaging with the musical public of Ireland.
Our People: People are at the heart of what we do and the National Concert Hall will be recognised as an exemplar of customer care and a great place to work. Our staff will be valued and respected as part of one cohesive and highly motivated team that delivers excellence to the public and to each other. Our values will be embedded in everything we do.
The National Concert Hall is committed to supporting the audiences, friends, promoters, artists and visitors who make it what it is. We are Ireland’s National Concert Hall.
