Ellen Reid SOUNDWALK is a GPS-enabled work of public art that uses music to illuminate the natural environment.
Created by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and sound artist Ellen Reid, SOUNDWALK is user-guided: the path you choose dictates the music you hear, and no two visits will be exactly the same.
SOUNDWALK offers you a chance to enjoy new perspectives on one of Dublin’s most cherished locations the historic garden and park St. Stephen’s Green – through music.
For SOUNDWALK Dublin, Ellen Reid’s SOUNDWALK draws on music performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Kronos Quartet, Shabaka Hutchings, Nadia Sirota, James McVinnie Ensemble and the Soundwalk Ensemble. SOUNDWALK blends public art, music and technology to create an immersive journey of fresh perspectives.

Tips:
