Planning your visit to the National Concert Hall
We look forward to welcoming you back to the NCH for a safe and enjoyable musical experience.
We have implemented a range of control measures to ensure the protection and safety everyone. Directed by Government guidelines, it is critical that these measures are strictly followed by those visiting the NCH and attending a concert.
- A valid vaccination/recovery cert must be shown to gain entry. Please bring photo ID.
- Masks must be worn at all times including during the performance
- If you have COVID-19 symptoms we would ask that you do not visit the NCH – please check www.hse.ie for further information or phone HSE Live 1850 24 1850
Please remember to book ahead online as you won't be able to purchase tickets in person. Tickets can be purchased through www.nch.ie.
Tickets can be presented on any device for admission or pre-printed at home. Ticket collection will not be available on the day.
Once purchased, tickets are non-transferable and reselling is prohibited.
Attending an event
From September 6th 2021 and updated from October 22nd 2021, all patrons attending events must be either:
Recovered from Covid-19 within the previous 6 months
or an accompanied minor (under 18)
Vaccine passports will be scanned at entry and letters confirming Covid-19 recovery will be checked. Please bring photo ID.
Access to the venue will be from 90 minutes prior to the performance start time.
All members of a party must arrive together.
There is no restriction on group sizes when visiting the NCH. However, we still encourage you to keep a safe distance from other groups of visitors.
All audience members will be seated in venue performance spaces. Elsewhere in the venue all ticketholders will be required to take personal responsibility and practice safe social distancing.
Box Office and Cloakroom
Please remember to book ahead online as you won't be able to purchase tickets in person.
Our cloakrooms are currently closed so please don't bring any large bags, luggage or long umbrellas with you as these cannot be taken into our performance spaces.
You are very welcome to bring prams and buggies.
Hospitality and Refreshments
All our bars and the Terrace Cafe have reopened. When you arrive at the NCH, we will allocate you a table where your order will be taken. Currently, our menu offering will be limited to sandwiches, pastries and snacks of individually packaged items.
Payment for catering will be via credit card.
Toilets will be open, including accessible toilets, and our staff will be happy to direct you to the nearest facility.
NCH advises customers not to attend the concert if they have any symptoms of Covid-19 (www.hse.ie). Please contact our Box Office team at email@example.com if you are unable to attend and they will assist you.
Exiting the venue
At the end of the performance please follow the instructions of staff who will help direct you out in a safe and orderly fashion.
Keeping you safe
We are following Government guidance to make sure the whole building is Covid secure. Measures we have put in place include:
Clear signage to guide you safely around the NCH.
Hand sanitiser throughout the building.
Regular and thorough cleaning of door handles, rails, toilets and other areas, before, during and after concerts.
Card payments only.
Wearing face coverings while in the NCH, including staff members.
Use of electrostatic fogging machines as part of our cleaning regime to sanitise all venue spaces.
We are currently PCR testing all artists, performers and backstage personnel to ensure the ongoing safety of those working at the NCH.
We will continue to review and manage any risks and to respond to any changes in Government guidance, keeping our staff trained and up-to-date as we go. We will also take on board any feedback you might have. Please do contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
