What is Mini Music?
A fun and accessible workshop series for babies and young children with foot-tapping, memorable tunes!
Mini Music is an action-packed music workshop experience for youngsters aged 3 months to 8 years old.
Each of the Mini Music sessions is 30 minutes long and is led by a highly trained workshop facilitator, using tuned and untuned percussion instruments and of course the one instrument we all have – the voice.

FAQS
MINI MUSIC
Q. Can I sample a class before I start?
A. We do not offer taster sessions but we will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the course before it commences.
Q. Once I’ve purchased a ticket, can I change workshops or get a refund?
A. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. Because of the limited size of the workshop groups, it is important to attend the workshop for which you have a ticket (regardless of which one you have attended in previous terms).
Q. I’ve booked one term of Mini Music, is my child automatically re-enrolled?
A. Re-enrolment is not automatic, but as long as you book within the priority booking period your place in the following term will be secured.
Q. Can two adults accompany a child?
A. No. In the interests of health and safety, as well as maintaining a quality teacher-to-participant ratio, only one adult may accompany a child to the workshop. Adults in a family may wish to take turns accompanying the child. Anyone not attending the workshop is welcome to wait in our foyer, where the coffee bar will be open.
Q. Will my child be playing instruments during the workshops?
A. The children play simple hand percussion which is suitable for their age category.
Q. Where do workshops take place?
A. Mini Music workshops take place in special classrooms at the National Concert Hall.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please note: A teacher and an usher will be present at each workshop, but each child must be minded by his or her accompanying adult at all times, with the exception of the Mini Maxi and Mini Maestro sessions, to ensure everyone’s safety, learning and enjoyment. No photography or recording of any kind permitted during the workshops.
Entry to the National Concert Hall will be conditional on the health guidelines at the time of the performance/workshop/class, and not at the time of ticket purchase. Any updated conditions of entry will be notified to guests in advance.
Please make sure you book your child into the most suitable age group, eg. If you child is 2 years old or will turn 2 years old within the first few weeks of term we recommend you book into the 2-3year old age group class and not the 1-2 year old age group class.
