Dublin Song Series presents three song concerts with some of the greatest artists of this genre of today. The central focus of these recitals is songs written by Viennese composers and all include songs by the inventor of the Lied, Franz Schubert.
The series is delighted to host the acclaimed British baritone, Sir Simon Keenlyside, making his Dublin debut. The second recital beings acclaimed Scottish tenor, Nicky Spence, to Irish audiences for the first time and the third one showcases the talent of Cork mezzo soprano, Niamh O’Sullivan, who is fast making a big career on the opera stages of Europe.
All are accompanied by Dearbhla Collins, Ireland’s leading song recitalist.
