Ravishing arias include the lavish ‘Non disperar, chi sa?’ (Giulio Cesare), ‘Nel grave tormento’ (Mitridate), the rousing martial anthem ‘Chacun le sait’ (La fille du régiment), and the delightfully comic Doll Song from The Tales of Hoffmann.
