Bars at the NCH

We have four bars situated within the building offering a full selection of wines, champagne, spirits, beers juices and soft drinks. Bars open 90 minutes hours prior to Main Stage concerts. Relaxed casual seating areas are available where tables can be reserved for pre-ordered beverages for larger parties.

For interval drinks we offer a pre-pay and collect service which allows for a relaxing time during that 20 minute break without the need to queue up again and waste time from meeting with friends and family. Interval beverages are ordered and paid from any bar (nearest your auditorium seats works best) prior to the concert and a ticket numbering system operates to inform you where to collect your beverages.

The Foyer Bar

(open for Main Stage, Kevin Barry Recital Room and John Field Room shows).

The Foyer Bar greets you on the left as you walk in the main entrance. It offers a full list of wines spirits, juices, soft drinks and snacks.

This bar is also open for John Field Room and Kevin Barry Recital Room concerts.

The John Field Room Bar

This is our main bar, just past the foyer entrance, where a selection of draught beer and a full list of beverages is served. 

The Upper Balcony Bar

(open for Main Stage shows)

The Upper Balcony Bar is located on the magnificently decorated upper level where you can avail of a large selection of drinks, bottled beers, spirits, juices, soft drinks, and snacks. There are also plenty of seating areas to relax here before or during the interval.

Coffee Dock Area

(open for Main Stage shows) - Located in the John Field Room.

This area offers a large selection of coffees, teas, soft drinks, juices, pastries, soup, sandwiches and other delights.
