Boydell Under no Circumstances
Brahms A German Requiem

UDCS presents Brahms’ German Requiem alongside Brian Boydell’s Under No Circumstances.  Boydell was Professor of Music in Trinity, and a noted composer.  We are honoured to present this work, comissioned for UDCS’ 150th anniversary in 1987,  to mark the centenary of his birth. The piece is a cantata telling the story of the founding and early history of the Society (the oldest Choral Society in Ireland)

Presented by the University of Dublin Choral Society
Sponsored by TCD Visual and Performing Arts Fund; TCD Association and Trust; Charlotte F. Shaw Trust
