Beginners: 6.30pm - 7.30pm Tuesdays
Level 2: 7.30pm - 8.30pm Tuesdays
Level 3: 8.30pm - 9.30pm Tuesdays

Drums and percussion are the oldest instruments on the planet.  Since the beginning of human history, people have tapped into the power of rhythm, and this remains the central core of nearly every musical style.

Percussion Lab is a drumming ensemble for for anyone over the age of 16 where you are encouraged to join in and experience the rhythms of the world.  Focusing on the rich traditions of Africa, Brazil and Cuba, Percussion Lab will have you up and drumming in no time (but hopefully in time!).

There are no entry requirements, and no previous experience is required – all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!

Term cost: €65 limited places available

Term 1    

Ensemble levels explained:

Beginner: You have little or no experience in the relevant area. You may have some experience in other musical areas.

Level 2 – You have some experience in the relevant area, or it is some time since you have participated.  You may have some experience in other musical areas. You will be invited to join this level by the tutor.

Level 3 – You have already completed, or moved up from a similar level 1 ensemble, or you have some experience in the relevant area.  You will be invited to join this level by the tutor.
