You can make a difference in someone’s life. Please help us reach our goal of €10,000 in support of our Education, Community and Outreach programmes.
As the Christmas season approaches, we urge you reflect on the important part music plays in your own life, and make a donation in support of our work with organisations like St. Declan’s School and the National Rehabilitation Hospital — providing life-enriching musical experiences to children with behavioural and emotional difficulties, as well as those unable to attend a concert as a result of an accident, illness or injury.
Your donation will ensure that the joy of music continues to be shared with those who need it most, at Christmas time, and all year round.
- €5 covers the cost of a blindfold, used to help children with sensory processing disorders, during a workshop at St. Declan’s School.
- €20 covers the cost of 50 ‘egg shakers,’ simple percussion instruments, for children to use during music-making activities facilitated by the National Concert Hall.
- €50 provides the supplies needed to record CDs for an entire classroom of children at St. Declan’s School – enabling them to listen back to the music they’ve made any time.
- €100 helps cover a musician’s costs of maintaining their cherished instrument, used for National Rehabilitation Hospital workshops and performances throughout the year.
- €150 covers the cost of facilitating one morning of music- and sound-making sessions at St. Declan’s School.
- €250 covers the costs of a professional musician to prepare for and present a full day of workshops and performances for patients and families at the National Rehabilitation Hospital.*
Your support, in any amount, is greatly needed and very much appreciated. We rely on generous donations from individuals like you to ensure the continuation and growth of our Education, Community and Outreach programmes.
You can also make a donation by visiting the Box Office or calling 01 417 0000 (Monday-Saturday, 10am-6pm), or by posting a cheque (payable to the National Concert Hall) to: National Concert Hall, Development Department, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2.
The National Concert Hall is a registered charity. We exist to foster and celebrate the appreciation, knowledge, enjoyment and pure love of music as an integral part of Irish life. CHY Number 6469.
* Gifts of €250 or more allow the National Concert Hall to avail of the Irish government’s Tax Relief scheme, significantly increasing the value of your donation, at no additional cost to you. For example, when you give €250, we can claim an extra €112, making the total value of your donation €362. And if you give €500, we can claim an additional €224, making the total value €724. Completing and returning a CHY3 CERT is a simple way to have an even greater impact on the lives of people all over Ireland who benefit from our programmes.
